Korean Design Research Institute (KDRI), which is a part of Seoul National University in Korea, is building a multi-disciplinary system with world network in order to create new design concept and cultural value. KDRI is publishing the international issue of Asia Design Journal to find and create concepts and trends in Asian values and culture every year. Asia Design Journal hopes to explore new Asian concepts each year through papers on multi-interdisciplinary topics, including culture, social science, literature, engineering, management, liberal arts and design, which deal with Asian culture and design. KDRI is striving to make the journal more helpful to the readers and to become the center of healthy debate on design.
